The West Virginia Blockchain Foundation (WVBF) develops educational, workforce, and innovation programs that help West Virginians participate in the future of artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure.

MISSION:BUIDL is a WVBF initiative that equips students to build, launch, and participate in artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, and emerging technology ecosystems through workshops, hackathons, founder mentorship, industry engagement, and hands-on project development.

๐Ÿ”— Black Blockchain Student Network

The Black Blockchain Student Network (BBSN) is a student-led initiative supported by WVBF that expands access to blockchain and emerging technology education through partnerships with Black student organizations and student leaders.

Focus Areas:

  • Blockchain Basics workshops

  • Educational resources and peer learning

  • Cross-campus leadership development

  • Career pathways into technology, policy, and digital infrastructure

Programming is delivered in partnership with student-led organizations across colleges and universities.

๐Ÿงช Blockchain Attack Lab

Originally developed for university cybersecurity students, the Blockchain Attack Lab uses real-world-inspired scenarios involving artificial intelligence, blockchain systems, and digital infrastructure incidents. The hands-on exercise introduces participants to cybersecurity, blockchain security, governance failures, and digital asset risk management through simulated incidents and tabletop exercises.
