The West Virginia Blockchain Foundation (WVBF) will join the “Fundamentals of Bitcoin” speaker panel hosted at the Washington & Jefferson College Ignite Business Incubator. WVBF will discuss Pennsylvania and federal cryptocurrency legislation, supportive state politicians, and joining civic engagement via Stand With Crypto.

WVBF is gathering alongside the 3 Rivers Bitcoin Meetup for a workshop on self-custody, cold storage and multisig wallets.

This group is open to everyone — whether you’re new to Bitcoin, curious about digital assets, interested in policy and innovation, or just looking to meet forward-thinking people building the future of the Steel Valley.

WVBF will be participating in the next Cleveland Bitcoin Meetup to discuss practical steps for building a real Bitcoin circular economy — from Lightning-enabled small businesses to city policies that support local adoption. With Ohio’s new Blockchain Basics Act laying the groundwork, the conversation will focus on how Cleveland can turn Bitcoin into a tool for neighborhood growth and financial inclusion.

Boomer’s Arcade is a campus-wide gaming tournament with the Bethany College eSports team. The first event at the campus eSports Arena features Super Smash Bros with a $100 prize, plus a short WVBF talk on Blockchain in Gaming.

WVBF will be tabling at a community block party in Downtown Steubenville. We’ll be giving away free pizza and answering questions about Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
